My dress is finally here!

As some of you know, I had some serious dress doubts after buying a dress at a sample sale last October. After the ensuing hunt for my dream dress, I ended up purchasing a dress that I hadn't actually tried on because no one in Calgary had a sample of it.

Fast forward to yesterday. My dress has arrived and I went to try it on! There are some alterations yet to be done but, I'm happy with my decision and (aside from the added expense) have zero regrets. Kudos to Cecilia at the Bridal Centre for working so incredibly hard to make sure I had the best idea of the silhouette and colour before ordering my dress, sight unseen! (Ignore my closed eyes...she was taking a bunch of photos and I didn't know when...lol)

    I absolutely love the back but do miss the support of a full corset back. (Totally minor point but there's nothing quite like a full corset on my fuller figure!) I'm sure I'll appreciate the difference when I'm still able to breathe at dinner!
