What is everyone doing for music at the ceremony? Are you hiring a DJ or a String Quartet? Are you playing the music from you iPad or is someone from the church playing the organ (piano or guitar)?

We used the church organist for a small fee! But I also love string instruments at the ceremony!

We have a guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then we'll just plug in an ipod for the lunch reception.

We're having our DJ play our ceremony.
We originally wanted live music but it was more expensive. With the DJ we get all the exact songs we want too.

Our DJ is a family friend so I think we’ll get him to do the ceremony as well. If we don’t want to do that we have family owned sound equipment as a back up.

I'm going to just play my own music off their PA system... It's only a few songs, and I'm not paying for the extra hours for the DJ, and a string quartet is just too much for me! Haha.
We aren't getting married in a church, so we don't have the piano/organ option, although that would be nice if you're using traditional songs/hymns.
