Most Likely To No-call, No-show

Joey, on October 9, 2018 at 10:05 Posted in WeddingWire 0 20

We're playing a just for fun game of " Most Likely To " to find out who might make a faux pas on your wedding day.

RSVPs are sacred! You need to have an accurate count of your guests, but it's so hard to pin some of your guests down. Emergencies of course happen, but what about when someone just flakes and doesn't give any warning? Who do you think is most likely to no-show at your wedding without giving you a heads up?

My Uncle on my Dads side is known for either not showing up or arriving so late there was no point in even coming...

A few of my cousins have significant others that work on-call and that sort of thing. I hope they have known about this far enough in advance, but we'll see!

My cousin, because she's travelling from far away and a bit of a mess. Everyone on the other side of the family has been warned against that. The FH's cousin got married over the summer, and one of the uncles didn't show and there was so much anger about it, no one on that side of the family would dare a no show.

I don't think anyone would at ours without good reason. They're all pretty stoked.

Friends of mine who were travelling across the country. They actually did let us know. I also had suspicions of a family my husband is friends with, and they didn't show or call, and still haven't heard anything from them 3 months later!

We had 14 people rsvp and then not come! Most of them at least let us know, and a few of our friends who didn't know anyone else were able to invite a friend so they had someone to sit with during the reception!

I don't think anyone would do this... We're having family only and I can't see anyone not showing up

I have a friend from high school who is the most unreliable person possible. So I foresee her doing this.

I have a cousin who may do this, he is flaky. But other than that maybe someone from my FH's side. They do not have a lot of communication between them!

Probably some cousins, or extended family. I can't think of anyone in particular, but who knows!

Someone on my fiancé’s side probably. My side is mostly flying over. So we’ll know beforehand.

I think it'll be my cousins... We haven't been as close lately, and it would totally be a "RSVPing yes to save face", then using some excuse about the kids or something the day of. I don't know how many people would just not show up without explanation... but if it's last minute, I won't be checking my phone anyways.

My older step sister straight up forgot my bridal shower. And then never messaged me to apologize.

One person on my B-list if we get that far. She always says she's going to events and then the day-of is nowhere to be found/not on her phone. Then she'll apologise profusely the next day about how she had "something come up"

Some of his family might not come since the 2 hour drive is too long but we'll invite anyways. Some will say no off the bat, but others will say "maybe", we'll call and ask over and over again "yes or no" until they say yes out of guilt and then not show up at all.

Probably one of my fiance's friends, a few of them are super flakey and I could see them just not showing. To be completely honest one of the groomsmen too, he is one of the most unreliable people ever and his girlfriend is all about just her so if she pulls something the morning of the wedding I could see them not showing and "forgetting" to tell us right away.

It’s a cross country wedding and I feel as though we’ve invited too many people already (in the hopes of a number of them declining)...I hope none of our guests no show, but I will celebrate each time we get a “not attending” rsvp.

I have some friends I... am not worried will bail the last minute? But if they do I would understand. Things happen. Sometimes the day just isn't right for some and I rather they stay home and take care of themselves than force themselves to be out.

My FH's friend that he almost asked to be in the wedding party. He is just so unreliable and that is why we decided he wouldn't be asked to be in the party.
