Most Likely To Leave First

Joey, on October 22, 2018 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 17

Whether it's the parents of young children who need to be home for bedtime, the grannies who have an early bed time of their own, or that one friend that just always seems to be double booked, you probably have an idea about who will be the first guest to say goodnight.

Who is most likely to leave your wedding first?

My grandma, but that’s okay because she doesn’t like staying away from her retirement home for too long anymore as she’s gotten used to it.

Either that or my fiancé’s mother because she has M.S. and is often in pain (and/or grouchy as a result).

Either the best man's wife who had recently had surgery, or our friends who had a baby at home who wasn't going to sleep. We actually left pretty early ourselves.

My cousin - he always leaves early. For one of our cousin’s wedding last September, he left before the main course was served... how annoying considering we’ll be paying for 2 people (him and his wife) that leave before the food comes.. Smiley angry

This one is tough. I would have said grandma, but she knows this is a once-in-a-lifetime event for her.And the parents of young kids really see this as a night of freedom.

I am hoping that it will be some of the younger children. We are only allowing Immediate family children (our nieces and nephews, theres about 10 of them). My sister has already arranged for another family member to come pick up my nephew so she can party after dinner!

There's no kids, and no grandparents... so it will most likely be an older aunt/uncle.

My grandma (91) or my nephew and his dad (1 1/2) will leave first to go to bed.

My aunt L - She's quite ill (and doesn't want to help herself), so I can't see her staying very late.

My mom told me she would probably be leaving around 8/9 so I'm guessing her.

The old people? lol So like the people who are older than 60? That or the people with kids at home and didn't plan a whole night off and instead just got an evening babysitter...
