Most Likely To Get Too Drunk

Joey, on October 9, 2018 at 10:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 22

We're playing a just for fun game of " Most Likely To " to find out who might make a faux pas on your wedding day.

Have you already warned your bartenders to be on the lookout for that guest who likes to over-indulge when there's a bar around? Are you worried about what drunken antics might take place at the reception? Who do you think is most likely to get too drunk?

One of the groomsmen, for sure. He's gone drunk at other weddings, and it's not cute or pretty at all.

My best friend. The groomsmen. My youngest sister (and she's a mean drunk). Auntie Carol. Uncle Doug... Hell, me or my fiance! The wine and beer will be flowing and we're ALL going to have too much fun! (At the risk of making us all sound like alcoholics... 🤣🤣)

I would've thought the best man! But, his wife had surgery a few days before our wedding, so he had to be DD for her!

It ended up being one of my friends from work, which surprised me!

My husbands brother since he loves to party and go beyond limits. Good thing he forgot the date ina way and never brought his friends or companion.

Next day we got a call from him hearing he was going to the venue while bringing friends to the wedding. Realized after that it was already over and the day before. That seemed rude and inconsiderate coming from him personally. Yet, its what he does.

There are actually a few people I can include for this one. My Fiances brother, we have had issues with that in the past and he is a bit worried about him. We have a bunch of friends going who are in their mid-twenties so theres a gamble. I feel the people we invited though even if they get really drunk will still be respectful!

One of my FHs friends, for sure! He’s the first one. I’ve asked FH not to let me get passed 4 glasses of wine. I don’t want to be the second one that night lol

I can think of a few, for sure. This is one of the reasons why we didn't want an open bar!

There’s far too many contenders for this 😂 thankfully we’re not having an open bar. We’d be so broke!

My FH and I are going to the airport hotel straight from the reception, and flying out for our honeymoon the next day, we've agreed we aren't getting druuuunk.... And even his groomsmen/ buddies are heavier drinkers, but it's not an open bar... So I'm not worried about them being anything but how I usually see them at parties...

I would say it's my aunt/uncle... or my FMIL haha...

There's so many people to choose from: my aunt, his uncle, my parents, anyone of drinking age...

...at least the hotel has trained bartenders to not over serve/security if needed

Yeaaaaahhhh this is a touchy one.
I hope to gawd it’s not my FH, but we’ve had that talk and I think we’re good.
I think it’s most likely to be my university buddies or my British cousin...who will probably pregame (it’s a brunch reception😳)

I'm worried already about my FH... he's not a lightweight... until it comes to tequila. 3 shots and he's done for the night... I'm at least 6 before I lose it.
