Most Helpful Person In Your Wedding Planning Process

Hank, on May 25, 2021 at 15:20 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5

Who in particular has been really helpful during the wedding planning process? It could be someone who is always lending an ear and shoulder while you pivot to covid regulations, or someone who is physically able to take on and complete tasks for you to ensure your wedding is a success. Is it a vendor? Someone from the bridal party? A family member?

For us, it's two members of the bridal party. One of our bridesmaids is my fiancee's best friend and she's been super supportive to her, being the ear (over super long Whatsapp calls lol) when she needed to vent or giving advice whenever she's asked for opinions. She was also able to support my fiancee in non-wedding related stresses in her life.

For me personally, I'm fairly techy and I've been to plenty of weddings where technical vendors make needless errors that could've been easily avoided if they just put in a bit of effort (like putting up a 4:3 screen while using 16:9 graphics, or a DJ triggering feedback on a mic due to standing in front of a speaker). And as someone who works events, these pet peeves bug me more than most people. Thankfully, one of my groomsmen is also super techy and with his help, we've managed to create a DIY setup for all our tech and I can trust it'll be done right without me needing to micro-manage the process on the day of.

My parents were really helpful after giving them time to get over the fact I came out to them. They bought my wedding outfit and paid for the centerpieces/money box rentals. It was nice of them since I had taken care of everything else. Its not an easy process with a spouse that thinks about him/her self not being involved until wanting to be.

Definitely one of my bridesmaids! She is super organized and loves all things wedding planning. She has definitely been there for me the most to lend an ear, give supportive suggestions and much-needed advice.

My fiance, my mom and my MOH. They've all been all supportive with the decisions my fiance and I have made with having to postpone twice. The three of them have been my rock through all of this and I don't know what I'd do without them

I think for me its my Fiance or his groomswoman! My fiance has been way more involved in wedding planning than I expected and that's super helpful.

Only 1 of my bridesmaids live in the same city as I and she's currently pregnant with her first baby! (Very exciting!!) So none of my bridesmaids are super available for some things I need. I have been friends with my Fiancés groomswoman for almost 11 years and she has been the biggest help for me so far with anythingggggg!!

I think my mom has been most supportive for me. Shes the first one I bounce ideas off of and the one I can tell exciting parts too. I feel like everyone else is kind over wedding stuff with covid and the unknown. I think it was easier last year to talk about wedding planning. I'd say close second is this website lol thanks everyone
