We chose late afternoon. As a wedding guest, I was never a fan of the big gap in between the ceremony and the reception, so I have limited this gap ceremony at 4pm - reception to follow.

We originally wanted a 1pm ceremony but our venue already had someone booked for that time. So we went with 11am. It makes our day a bit longer, and theres a pretty large gap between the end of the ceremony and when cocktail hour starts (4 hours). But a 3pm ceremony would have been too squished for us. So Morning for us

Afternoon for us! There's no way we could have gotten ready in time for a morning ceremony and we wanted a dinner reception so it worked out well.
