Moores

I’ve had Moore’s calling me the last couple days, so I finally called them back they were saying something about a registry ( I don’t recall any such thing and I don’t even recall looking them up) they wanted to tell me about the deals they offer and wanted to set up appointment. Anyone else receive this call from them?

    Did u sign up at a wedding event or a wedding show? they never called me about that

    We had a similar experience in Hamilton. So limited, and the sales girl was absolutely awful. She had no customer service sense and pretty much just stood around with a blank look on her face. I ended up being an acting sales person lol.... in the end, my FH only wanted this specific suit so we went with them...
    They chastised him for coming in 7 months before the wedding saying it was too early... which annoyed me. Then they said someone would follow up in February and we never heard from anyone.... guys went in last week to get fitted and they didn’t even have the proper pieces to try on. They have been less than stellar. I don’t recommend lol

    My little brother works at Moore’s and yes they are in partnership with David’s Bridal so if you accidentally signed up for anything with them, there’s a good chance that Moore’s got your information too. We’re getting my FH and groomsmen suits from there. Actually all the suits from my family will also be bought there. Other than the fact that my brother gets a hefty discount, their custom suit quality is so much better than the competition. Especially since their pricing is reasonable to begin with. I think FH settles for an Italian wool blend - I love Moore’s, their selection at my local store is huge!

    Moore’s and David’s Bridal are connected - they are currently advertising / promoting “Blueprint Registry” actually a pretty cool site. I think there are like timeline checklists too. Could have been something else too.

    Even after saying that we were going with them we still got continuous calls. I almost wanted to block their nr but couldn’t since were getting the guys suits from there. Just gets too much

    Their pricing is comparable to the other stores we have in the city. It was approximately 200 for the tux and depending on the amount of people that are getting a tux, the groom gets his for free. The quality of the tuxes were far better and they have more of a section with colours and styles, so that is the reason why we went to them. My FH said that the customer service was awesome though and they were able to get everyone fitted for a tux without taking up a ridiculous amount of time.

    I think they have a partnership with David's Bridal in Canada, so if you signed up for an account with them, your info may have been shared with Moores. (I remember changing the privacy settings in my account and haven't heard from Moores)

    Haven't heard of them calling before, but I found (at least in their London store) that they had like NO selection. We asked the sales guy about rental options and he took us to a display with like 4 mannequins and told us that was it. Basically, if you want a blue suit, there's one single blue suit option. And for grey, there was one single grey option. I'd had the impression that Moore's was really popular to rent from so it kindof blew my mind that their selection was soooo limited. We ended up going to Collins Formalwear and it was so much better.

    The only time I got those calls were when I entered to win something at a bridal show - and even though I didn't enter the second year (entered at the 2018 bridal show but not the 2019 one) they still had my information because they held onto it since my wedding was so far away.

    You might have signed up for them through another wedding website. I never signed up for Moore's but by visiting another site I accidentally gave them my email too. They never called though.


    I haven't heard great things. A friend of mine said they don't usually have all the sizes in stock and sometimes the consultants have no idea how to measure so you end up getting pants that don't fit. We decided to buy FH's suit instead of renting and so far rw and co is my favorite.

    They have the right information but it boggles my mind where they had gotten it from I don’t recall signing up for anything or entering anything. On another note how is their pricing and customer service

    I have no idea what you could register for with them. I mean they are just suits and stuff. We haven't received a call like that from them and the guys all got their tuxes from there.

    I havent had a call like that from Moore's and I signed with them at a bridal show. I'm not sure what they could possibly have you register for.
