Thank you! this was great help. This is mainly due to the venue being on an island park here in MTL so i doubt they will have bridal suites. So i am worried that we will need to get there early , rush to decorate, than rush back to a hotel, rush to get ready etc.

I work for a venue and we do not set up client decor but we do provide a venue host who helps coordinate vendors and overseen venue related tasks and we end up helping with decor 99 percent of the time even though it’s not included. A lot of month of coordinators do include set up so if that is important to you make sure you find someone that does that. Also I don’t think you can go wrong with contacting a MOC or DOC in advance 6-8 months out because most of them will assist with a lot of final details.

We hired one last year for our wedding in aug. they have been amazing. we booked trade sensations. and yes they will place all my DIY decor out and make sure everything is all set up and taken care of, deal with late vendors, deal with any issues day of, getting the schedule down etc etc

I didn't feel month of decorator was needed as my organization skills was enough to have everything done for the day. The set up didn't take much time neither the backdrop rented.

I hired one back in October, my wedding is at the end of July. I wasn't going to hire one initially but my grandma talked me into and so glad she did! Even though I'm paying for the month-of package, she has helped me source other vendors and just been a huge help with tips and whatnot. I don't believe she'll be helping with the decorating itself, but she will be overseeing everything as other vendors arrive and she'll direct them where to go and where to put things. She's actually good friends with my decorator so they have great communication between the two of them, so she may help her out. But I do know that my coordinator has an extra fee if I want her to help with any tear down.
