Mix or Match: Reception Tables?

Lynnie, on February 26, 2018 at 10:58 Posted in Wedding reception 0 22

This week we're asking all about your decor choices, and whether you're into a more matching uniform look or if you're injecting some flair and personality by mixing it up!

Reception Tables! Are you going for all the same shape tables, or are you mixing it up?

Matching round tables bc they come with the venue, but if we had the budget for it I’d go with matching rectangular tables.

I think it will be mix match, different center pieces, well like every other table matching in way.

Mixed decor but same table shapes. The head table will be rectangle with a champagne rosette linen. The guest tables are all rounds, but some will have a floral champagne overlay with charcoal linen and others just charcoal linen. Center pieces are also nixed between florals with candles or all candles.

Not sure if we need rectangle tables but so far all are round minus the head table.

Mixing Round table for the guests rectangle for us. 7 are going to have one type of centrepieces and the other 7 will have another type.

This is an interesting concept of mix and matching I like the idea will keep it in mind for when we get to this step of planning.

Matching with exception to the head table. Might mix up the decor a bit for every other table

Guest tables will all be matching standard round banquet tables then we'll have the rectangular sweetheart table up front.

Matched. I think. The tables will be round with a white tablecloth, but the table runner will alternate between two colours. And our sweetheart table will be different. So mixed, maybe?

The venue only has rectangular tables. So all the same. But our head table will be fashioned into a u shape to accommodate our wedding party and their spouses.

If you count our sweetheart table, we mixed. It was the only rectangular table in the room.

Matching, except for the sweetheart table (and the number of place settings at certain tables, they range from 6 to 8).
