I want to say 15 pounds but I don't really ask her how much she has lost or how much more just because it is more personal. If she shares it with me then I listen. And yes all my vendors are booked. How about yourself?

Yea I can't stand these small things...I'm so A type I have a hard time letting go of decision making and all that... trust issues too maybe haha

Her wedding is September 9th. We talk all the time because her wedding is less then a month after mine and as of right now she hasn't lost enough weight. I am a worried for her. And haha I actually enjoy planning, just the small details are annoying and I have the things that are more fun to me planned. Now it is more boring stuff that I just wish someone else would plan for me! My mom hasn't helped me plan anything though and it sucks not really having her help with things and so for my kids I want to be included and help with anything they need!

When is her wedding? or if it passed already did she get into the dress?

Oh no my kids will be on their own lol, too much stress!

My cousin is insane, she bought her dresses 2 sizes smaller then what she is. I said I could never do that. The pressure of losing weight, and then if you don't come through.... That is the scariest thing ever to me! I am so excited for all my planning to be finished! I just want to be married and go on a honeymoon!!! Haha The next wedding I shall plan, will be my kids LOL!

That's awesome, I'm surprised they went the smaller route because the place I went to wanted me to order a size up from the sample and said that they can bring it in like 4 sizes if needed. One of my coworkers is getting married in a month and is hoping she fits in her dress too as it was a little snug the last fitting...we joke all the time about how we will have to go on a strict ice cube soup diet

Isn't it crazy how all these small things come up that we initially never thought of....As much as I have enjoyed planning and all the other stuff, I can't wait for it to be over lol

I am sure it will fit amazing! I was worried with my dress. For my measurements I have a smaller bust, but wider hips and a medium size waist. So ordering the dress, they were between getting me a size 4 or a size 6. They decided because of my bust, to go with the size 4 and so I was scared it wouldn't fit me when they ordered it but it fit perfectly. Now the only struggle is trying to maintain the same weight. I still have to get it hemmed a bit at the bottom - even with my heels on, it is too long at the front, and then a bustle added on so I can put that long train somewhere at the reception!

I go for my fitting on the 16th of May and im fingers crossed cuz I ordered the dress in the same size as the sample but it wouldn't zip all the way........I've since dropped almost 20 pounds and I don't want to try it on until I'm there cuz I am way too scared...lol

I do have my veil! I initally tried it on with my dress but found it at another store for a better price! I am waiting for it to come in. The photos of the back of the dress, just before a photo of the veil is the veil that I chose. It has a simple line of beading on the bottom of it, but not too much that it takes away from the dress, it fits in perfectly with it!

I was lucky and my dress was covered by my mom. But FH and I are on a budget and are paying for the rest on our own. Realistically we only wear the veil for such a short period of time too. Have you found a veil yet?

I agree... My dress was just over $1000. I couldn't imagine paying the same amount for a veil.
