My girls are also the same colour but different styles.

I think if you want to mix and match there should be some sort of structure...whether it's the same colour, or complimenting colours (maybe give them a colour palette to choose from)... you can do different dresses but with similar material or similar style but with different tweaks like strapless/one shoulder/tank, etc or different lengths I feel like there are so many ways to pull off the mix-matched look...depending on your bridal party and your colours and ultimately what "look" you are going for

I am a bridesmaid for my best friend's wedding this coming weekend and she had all the ladies choose their own dresses wherever they wanted as long as they were a shade of grey. We sent pictures to her before purchasing or even brought her with us so she would know who was going to wear what. Some of the ladies purchased theirs super early in the game so she just advised the rest of us to go in a certain direction (i.e - 1 of the girls bought a lighter more silver grey so she told me to go a tad darker). I think just sending her our options was best, she photoshopped all the pictures of us side by side to get a more accurate picture of how we'd all look together!

I'm also kinda having a mismatched wedding first I was going to have Lavender & Pistiro green my older son is getting married 2 months after me. Their theme is Burgundy n some other color. So there was a conflict there. I changed my mismatched to Royal blue & Ivory. I'm the bigger person here. My maid of Honor , Matron of Honor and my bridesmaids are all wearing Royal blue dresses to the knee all styles my flower girl Royal blue. My ring bearers are wearing Ivory dresses with a royal blue ribbon around their dresses. The men with found suit.

Can you assign everyone a different colour that you think they would like? That way you know they will be different, and they may like having guidelines and not having to worry about making their own decisions

I am choosing the colour and fabric and length and they are choosing there own style!

We’re doing mismatched, I showed the girls the palette, and let them each pick a colour from it that they liked, that way I didn’t risk more than one picking the same colour 🙂 I also just asked that they run the dress by me before buying so I could make sure it worked

I'm doing two colour options: teal and purple. This applies to the groomsmen too but I think 2/3 will do teal and the best women will be in purple. I'm hoping the bridesmaids do half in teal and half in purple, like this picture:

I think I'm going to have them in all short or all long dresses (leaning towards short). Also I have facebook group so I can manage communications and we can keep track of who's wearing what colour.

We're doing three different colours for our wedding. The guys tweed vests will match the coordinating girls dress. Groom will wear more of a khaki coloured vest with a paisley tie pulling in all the colours. We love the way it all came together.

Colour scheme

My MOH will be wearing one shade of blue, while my bridesmaid is wearing another shade of blue. The bridesmaid dress matches the rest of the wedding party (bowties, vests etc for the boys) but both dresses are different colours AND different styles.

Same colour (i gave them free reign over colour- just told them green and they all picked the same one) but they each picked a different style! I gave no restictions on style other than under $150 each because i was buying the dresses for them

Inquire with the company about colour variation of the same dress to have each bridesmaid look colourful.
