Minted Invitation Experience

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are in the wedding planning process and ordered our invitations through Minted. I'm hoping that sharing our experience will be useful to other couples considering Minted. Ultimately disappointed with the quality and experience.

- We decided on a design and ordered a sample to see it in person. 2-3 weeks after receiving the sample in the mail, I tried to order our invitations only to find the design had been discontinued.

- I reached out to Minted, who offered to do a custom order to replicate the discontinued design. Unfortunately, the first batch of invitations that arrived did not match the design we wanted. The text, which should be dark gray, was instead a light gray/beige that was hard to read on a white background.

- Minted customer service reprinted the invitations for us with the correct text colour and sent them via rush shipping. I was appreciative of their responsiveness to resolve the issue.

- In the batch of invitations with the correct text colour, the alignment of the text is not consistent. About 40% of the invitations have the text subtly off centre. 10% of the invitations were unusable due to the text being so misaligned that the floral design on the invitations covers part of my name and our wedding date.

    Sorry that you had to go through that Stephanie.
    I hope that you get it sorted, also think that the invites get thrown away too, hence I did not go any printed but created my own and sent them personally via text.

    Very similar issues happened to my friend. She had four copies printed and none were right. What a waste!!! They even had lines entirely missing. No idea how this happens.

    Hard to believe a company would not notice the mistakes before shipping out on the order. I am glad to have excellent service from vistaprint as their quality and print is great.
