Minimalist wedding

Holly, on January 4, 2024 at 15:14 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 4
Trying to keep our costs down, have yet to really find any ideas that I like, and personally I really dislike major table arrangements and the flower toss and garter toss, mainly a lot of "traditional" wedding things. I know it's our wedding we can do what we please, but is it tacky to not have centre pieces other then table numbers 🤔 and cut out the games and flower toss and garter toss etc?

I really like these table numbers that I found on Amazon. Thinking about filling them with candies or chocolates with our wedding colours

Centerpieces do not necessarily need to be big poofy flowery things, and table numbers don't have to just be a black number on a white square. Lots of creative ways to do minimalist on a budget without being overly plain.

I don't think there's nothing wrong with having a minimalist wedding! Everyone's wedding image is different and that's the beauty of weddings. If you and your partner don't feel the need of all of the traditional ways of a wedding, do what feels best! I've always said it's your wedding and no one elses!

Hey! you can totally have a minimalist small wedding. It's your day and you can toss aside which ever normal wedding events aside and do things your way!

For myself and husband, we ended up ditching traditional too. We did a small wedding in the mountains and we had no games, no garter toss and no bouquet toss. We did not do table numbers and we has small centerpieces for flowers and tea light candles.

We also did our reception at a restaurant and it was perfect. We had a private room that had an outdoor patio. The food was great, we had our personal bartender and luckily still some dancing once the food was done. | could not of dreamed of a better day.

The best part about planning your own wedding is doing things your way!
