Midnight Lunch

Kim, on February 24, 2019 at 14:08 Posted in Wedding reception 0 11
Has anyone ever done McDonald’s for their midnight lunch? Just wondering if that was something they would do or how it went? Thanks!

I haven't, but it sounds fun! My fiancé and I will be doing a late night food station, but time-wise I'm not sure when it'll occur.

Good idea! I would recommend talking to the restaurant a few weeks ahead of time and limit the amount of options.

I'm actually looking into doing this as our wedding social snack! I'm thinking cheeseburgers, jr. chickens, and fries!

My FH and I both remember leaving the bar and seeing the hot dog guy right outside to get your loaded hot dog as you were leaving when we were younger! So we kind of wanted that same vibe!

Our dinner caterer offered it as an option for midnight supper - 7$ a head for big fat gourmet hotdogs and toppings ranging from the usual ketchup/mustard to hot cheese sauce, chili, sauerkraut, hot peppers, etc.

We considered it - I'd love it at a wedding (as long as they weren't cold by the time they got there!). You'd have to really keep in mind the timing, and I would definitely talk to the restaurant a week or two a head of time so they can plan for it!

In the end, we decided to go with a hot dog buffet (with 14 different toppings), but I think McD's burgers would be awesome too!

I’ve never seen that at a wedding but it sounds like a delicious way to refuel after a night of dancing lol.

Our venue offers McDonalds cheeseburgers for the after glow.
They have done it enough times that they know the amount to order for everyone. They bring them in and a good take home for everyone! Who doesn’t love cheeseburgers after a night of drinking!
