Menu Selections on Place Cards

We got these great little gold stickers off etsy - cows, chickens, carrots (for vegetarian), stars for kids and a hospital-looking cross for allergies and dietary restrictions. They worked perfectly!!

One wedding I was in. and was making her placecards. we used a jewel sticker in the corner. and gave the hall what each color meant (so silver was beef, purple chicken, blue fish) something like that.

it worked really well. as the hall had a list of however many of each meal at each table ahead of time. and they just had to look at the name card. without interrupting conversation or anything. (plus a LOT of people forget what they ordered).

I feel like this conversation is already pretty well taken care of - but I just wanted to pop in and say congrats on the engagement!! lol and that I like the idea of symbols on the place cards - super cute!

Menu cards were placed on each table x2 for everyone to see whats offered dinner wise. Thank you cards with names with favours to personally have guests seat them accordingly. Vistaprint is my choice of getting anything printed now.

Is this so the servers know who to bring which plate to? At my friends wedding, she had little symbols on everyone's place cards. There was a carrot for the vegetarian option, chicken for chicken, pig for pork. Because I was gluten-free, I also had a red star to indicate my allergy. As far as I know, everyone got the correct plate so it was a good system.

Yep! Printed menus are the way to go! I'm doing 1 for each guest as their place setting! But I have been to weddings where they have just 1 menu displayed per table and it worked fine!

You can actually print out menus off Vistaprint? Catch them during a semi annual sale they’re super reasonable!
