Mascara

Sonja, on September 21, 2017 at 09:53 Posted in Beauty 0 22

My wedding day will be hot and humid. Should I wear waterproof mascara or is the regular kind satisfactory? I bought regular that gives you fuller, longer lashes. Should I return it for waterproof?

I think I've had my share of suffering. Frankly, I'm more worried about how hot it will be on Sunday (37 with the humidity). All my makeup will melt, and we'd find the fake eyelashes in a pool on the ground. That's all that will be left of me is those eyelashes!!

Wait till you have your first child and then tell me that. LOL. After 4 C-sections, I know a bit about pain.

Yes, Jen. I exchanged mine for the waterproof one after so many brides said it was better.

Hi Bethany, My MOH is taking me to get my nails done on Saturday. I don't want her to spend any more money. Besides, I might not like the fake lashes. They might feels weird and then what would I do?

Could try getting fake lashes that wipe off with make up remover. could always use waterproof mascara to if going swimming during honeymoon.

Maybelline has always had some great waterproof options. Affordable and they work great!

Another vote for waterproof. What brands of waterproof mascara do you all like?

That's my other go-to. I find that coconut oil works a bit better and moisturizes my lashes, but petroleum jelly will definitely work.

I go with waterproof for tears and sweat! Just make sure you use a good remover to get it off. I like using coconut oil on my waterproof mascara to get it all off my lashes Smiley smile

I would generally suggest waterproof for a wedding just in case you cry.
