#MakeupMonday - best lipstick brands

I love mac lipsticks ! they stay on so long !

I don't wear lipstick too much, I prefer heavier eye makeup with a tinted lip gloss, but my going-out lipstick branch is MAC - Russian Red.

I love MAC. I find that the selection and quality is really great.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick. I have 6 colours and I SWEAR by it.

I wore Petal Potion for my wedding day, I put it on at 1pm, and it was almost perfect still at midnight, after kissing/eating/drinking all day. The colours are awesome, and I got several compliments on it, and my other shades (I wore on our honeymoon). They even have a bright red shade that's just amazing. Doesn't budge and lasts for HOURS.

I really love Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink! It doesn't have a huge variety of colors like some lines do, but the pigment is really strong, it stays on all day without needing touch ups (even better than the old KVD I have, one of hers was the first matte liquid lip color I tried and I liked it, but I jumped ship to Maybelline as soon as I tried that one!) and it is really affordable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great all day lip color that won't come off when you kiss your SO!

Try stila lip paints. can order at Sephora (some shoppers carries it). i received a like 5 minis for Christmas. and WOOOWWW!!!

most lip products are off my lips within 30 min (even professional ones). or they dry me out so much i take em off. this product goes on super easy. isn't super drying. and as long as you let it set for like 20 minutes. it barely comes off. and the nudes they have. soooo pretty.

I have see his stuff! However similar to KVD he is not a person I want to support... he stands for a lot of things I am extremely against (similar to KVD) and supporting them and their companies is something I cannot do

I really love Smashbox! I find it stays on throughout a full day, and there are even times I don’t have to reapply after eating! My go to shade for something a little more simple is ‘driver’s seat’ it’s just the right kind of nude pink for me!

I'm probably gonna buy lipsense for the wedding too!

I usually don't wear lipstick in my everyday look because of eating/drinking water I find it useless. I also have chronically dry lips and I find wearing lipstick day in and out dries them out faster.

When I go out I usually wear NYX Suede Cream - It dries my lips out the least, I can get it at the drug store at affordable prices, and there is a variety of shades! For a more neutral lip, their lingerie line is really nice!

So far I love Sephora brand the best - but for the wedding in order to have long lasting lipstick I will be buying lipsense! I tried it at the wonderful wedding show 2018 and it was soooo good!!! Just wasn't at the show this year though :/ Anybody know where to buy in Winnipeg? lol

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick HANDS DOWN! SO longlasting and he has an amazing colour collection. I find that the Kat Von D brand flakes off and just doesn’t last as long

As much as I do not like Kat Von D her liquid lipstick is so good! I am trying desperately to find a substitute for her Lolita colour as I use it the most! I am trying a MAC lipstick for the wedding (my MUA includes a colour in her package) and I just hope it lasts as long!

When the time comes I’ll be looking for the best long lasting nude liptstick.

I’m not getting my makeup professionally done on the day of but I will do a trial at Sephora to get a sense for what works best.

(My FH is not a fan of lipstick so I haven’t worn it in ages.)
