I had my second make-up trial yesterday and I am thrilled (and surprised) by how well it went! Backstory - my MOH/FSIL is a professional make-up artist and volunteered to do my makeup. We've butted heads on a few things before this (her dress among other things), and for the first makeup trial, she did what she wanted, instead of what I wanted. I looked like an alien - silver eyeshadow, false eyelashes that had to be 2 inches long, really heavy contouring, that kind of thing. A really pretty alien, but still an alien.
So I asked for a second trial, showed her a thousand pictures of the sort of classic glam look I was going for, and she actually listened to me, and did a pretty amazing job (I think, anyway 
)
