The person who did it did a good job. I am the same, there is no way that I could trust myself on the day of! I would definitely prefer not to look like my 6 year old used my face to create one of his abstract art projects! 😆

I got it done and it was my first time with this person and at the end I was like ok this is a little heavy but I like it lol I usually do it myself but for the big day I don't wanna have to do anything like that myself. I know me...it would be the one time my eyeliner goes squiggly, mascara goes everywhere and lipstick looks like a 4 yr old did it 😂 but 2 looks would be so cool, I might still take a mini kit and add a little drama in between. I love playing up my eyes! I agree doing a softer line at least on the bottom with the liner would look great as well! Are you doing your own makeup? If you had time between ceremony and reception you could always do a soft dramatic look for the ceremony, then just add to the look to make it a glamorous/dramatic look for the evening!

I don't wear any makeup (except on special occasions) so here is what I did for my wedding, but if I did wear makeup more often I would have glamed it up way more:

And although my eyes look kind of blue/grey in this picture - they are normally green (They change according to the weather so you can tell that based off them looking blue/grey that it was POURING rain on my wedding lol

View quoted message I do too!!! And our colour theme is eggplant and my hair is actually like a deep plum when it reflects in the light, so it goes without being too flashy. Although I wonder about maybe doing like a soft pink sparkle (like a white pink) instead of the ivory sparkle. And a touch of the ivory/white in the inner corners. But I dunno lol

Thank youu 🤗I have the same worry about sparkle, plus I sometimes feel like it turns into a greasy look instead of a sparkle look. So maybe matte shades with a touch of shimmer highlight

I like look #3, this is one of your only chances that you can go all glam and I say to go for it!

I like the lip from look #3 with the eyes from #1 or #2.

I love the sparkly eyeshadows, so pretty. The paler lipstick is super pretty too. I like the lipstick in look four.

All the looks are beautiful! I really like how your engagement party makeup turned out, you look beautiful! If you wanted to have a slightly different look from the engagement party you could do more of a nude/pink lip and do a slightly darker/dramatic eye to make them pop even more!
