Make up artists and spf

Miav, on August 1, 2019 at 12:10 Posted in Beauty 0 3
Makeup artists always remove my SPF base before trials and they suggested to do the same on the day of. I am concerned as SPF is very important to me. I guess it's because of the white cast? But there are SPFs that have no or minimal white cast. I've been wearing SPF everyday for the last five years and it has really helped my skin so I am quite OCD about this. Anybody in a similar situation? TIA! Smiley smile

I love Drunk Elephant's sunscreen (I use Umbra Tinte in the summer)! I haven't used the bronzing drops but I've heard great things!

I'd ask your MUA if she has a foundation with a higher SPF in it or if you have one you like if she'd be able to use it for you.

Since your wedding it in mid September the sun and all of it's UV rays will definitely still be out there and shining bright.

I would suggest asking your MUA if they have a recommended SPF you can use beforehand to avoid white cast, or ask them to use a foundation with a higher SPF in it. (Personally I use Milk Makeup's Sunshine Skin Tint(SPF 30!) every day on top of Drunk Elephant's sunscreen mixed with their anti-pollution bronzing drops)
