Make up artist suggestions

Dana, on October 29, 2017 at 11:12 Posted in Beauty 0 5
Does anyone have any recommendations for mobile make up artists in Toronto? I have no idea where to start looking! Also not sure what price range I should expect so if anyone is willing to share how much they’re paying or quotes they’ve received that would be great

I’m using Victoria Barrett Makeup and Hair Artistry. I recommend getting quotes, checking reviews, and checking out their before and after photos in their portfolios. If you see someone who’s got a rule that you like then do a trial (typically it will cost you a discounted price for the full service). I’ve had my trial with Victoria for Makeup and her co-artist Christina who did my hair. I think it turned out great. She doesn’t charge extra for a minimum number of services. She’s doing my hair and makeup, my moms makeup and my two bridesmaids hair. She’s doing my niece (8 yr old) hair for a discounted price and complimentary makeup for her. She will come to us on the day of the wedding. Here’s a pic of my trial (with my extensions)

I used modern makeup. I got a discount because of a friend, but they are expensive without it, it was $120 per person I think without a discount.

You should check out Lacey West Makeup - she was very reasonable & sooo nice.
It was $65 with lashes. http://www.laceywestmakeup.com/

I second that. Get various quotes and compare. To be honest, I never thought it was worth the money so I did my own makeup. If you're unsure of how to do it, watch some you tube videos and practice a few times in advance. Also, I wouldn't want to use makeup that has been used on other people. Furthermore, you don't know how your skin will react to these brands.

I don't have any recommendations for you, but if you're unsure where to start, explore the vendors tab on wedding wire. It doesn't hurt to message a bunch and receive quotes so you can compare.
