Lyrics or instrumental processional song?

I like the idea of a song with lyrics. Maybe it’s just because I love the lyrics to the song I plan to walk down the aisle to ☺️

For the processional we are doing A Thousand Years, the rest of the wedding party will be walking down the aisle to the instrumental version and then it will switch to the lyrical version when I come out.

We wanted instrumental only and ended up with a friend playing Cannon in D on an acoustical guitar (a bit cliche I know, but when I was researching music that was the one that actually brought a tear to my eye, so I went with it!)

We chose songs with lyrics. The only one that was instrumental was the parents/bridal party

I’ll be doing an instrumental version of one of my favourite songs. for some reason i just find the instrumental version more fitting for a wedding

My processional song will have lyrics - one of my bridesmaids will be singing me down the aisle which makes it super special for me. We have not decided on a song yet though

Both! The bridesmaids will be walking to a instrumental song from our favourite movie and then it will fade into Stay Alive by Jose Gonzales for my entrance.

Not sure yet, depends on the song we choose, we have a few choices lol

Oooh that's such a great choice! Just watched the movie this weekend (it's on Netflix!!) so the melody is so fresh in my mind haha.

Mine will have lyrics in it. Speechless by Dan and Shay! We both like country and understand that many others don’t like it, and also not the most “pumping” music at a reception. So our ceremony will be all country music!

Instrumental for me - Vitamin String Quartet of "As the World Falls Down" by David Bowie. Labyrinth is one of my favorite movies and David Bowie is my idol, so it was no question, but I think the instrumental is more suitable for our venue.
