Location backup?

Victoria, on June 10, 2019 at 13:29 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 6

We are planning to have our wedding and reception in our backyard, but we have been getting so much rain lately we're afraid we won't catch a break to get the landscaping done before the wedding, let alone that the ground will be too wet to hold it outdoors.. Tips and recommendations on what we can or should do would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Victoria. We are also having our wedding in my mother’s backyard. We decided on a tent. We got a few quotes from rentals and it was crazy expensive! So we decided to buy online from amazon and then try to sell it afterwards. Cheaper than renting.

    Hi Victoria Smiley smile

Continuing on from Tori's suggestion, would it be possible and within budget for you to rent the tent and erect it the week before the wedding to keep the grass in the best possible condition?

Keeping the grass covered may be the best way to keep it in good nick for the wedding day!

We would most likely have the tent 2-3 days prior to the wedding

I assume that on the chance it does rain on the day-of your wedding that you will have a back up plan? If that back up plan includes a tent for outside do you think it would be possible to rent it for the week rather than the day so that if it were to rain all week the ground won't be wet?
