Let's talk linens, chairs, and tables !

Kate, on July 31, 2023 at 15:48 Posted in Plan a wedding 1 12

Hello all Smiley smile

When it comes to tables, what are you thinking? are you thinking all round, rectangle, or a bit of both? Let's hear all about your seating arrangement!

How about linens? are you going with the clean traditional white or spicing it up a bit with some colour? also, how important are the chairs to you? something fancy, or just going with what the venue is providing?

For our reception we had one rectangular table with chairs (came with venue) and two round tables and chairs that we rented. We kept it traditional with white table cloths but included a sequin champagne table cloth for the guest book signing table, this added some fun and colour! For chairs, we upgraded to the nicer style but still kept it white - see photos below! Smiley smile Also loving the clear chairs that some weddings are doing!

We are doing rectangular tables for our head tables and round tables for guests.
We are using a company called Have A Seat for our linens and decor

Our venue included Rectangle tables and basic black chairs included so we used those. Table linens weren't important to us at all so we used plastic table cloths

We had round tables for our guests and a rectangle table for the head table.

We had white linens provided by the venue and chairs were also provided by the venue. We added navy blue table runners to our guest tables to tie in our wedding colors and for the head table we had Gold table runners

That's helpful you do not have to bring the candles!

That's great that you had the option of different size tables but still same shape!

We did rounds that held 10-12 people per table. We had a very light cream table cloth and flat emerald green napkins. The chairs were clear chiavari chairs that the venue included.

My venue provides gorgeous hand made rectangle wooden tables and chairs - best part is they also provide the little tea candles so the only thing we are adding are floral centerpieces! I am debating adding the cheese cloth table runner in white - but we will see.

We have the rustic vibe for our wedding so it will be just the wood tables and chairs, and a runner.

We did rounds but we asked the venue if they had different sizes so that we weren't forcing ourselves to put 10 people per table. We also did white table cloths but it had a slight pattern on it to give it that classical formal look.
