I love the look of round, but my OCD side knows that square is easier to portion/cut.... but then you get those pieces without outside icing...

Round looks best IMO. It's just more traditional and cake shaped. Although square does put up a good fight for being able to cut and serve evenly - I don't intend to share my cake.

I like both, if we don’t go for cupcakes then we will probably get a round cake for us to cut and a square cake for guests as we will have about 200 people there for dessert.
