How much did you or are you spending on decor for ceremony and reception?
What is your wedding size?how many people?
what does your decor price listed above include?

thanks

I don't mind and the 2 vendors I had gone to were:

Floral Design Inc. for centerpieces (vases, floral ball and money box) let Lina know you want to rent and see what size and whole outlook will cost you overall.

Elite Party Rental is located in Barrie if you're within the north. We had gone there and was happy with the service and information provided. You may want to make some calls in Toronto otherwise to see if there good deals in your area for renting out.

    I have 180 people (approx.)

I spent about 120 on candles from Yummi Candles

I spent 84 on our guest centrepieces; tall Crystal look vases - 16 of them

I spent 1,000 on our wedding and wedding party centrepieces (Gold, tall... needless to say I'm reselling after) 18 of them - they will go outside and throughout the venue as well

I spent 149 in total on rose petals (30,000)

I spent 45 on a photo backdrop stand, and 100 on the printed custom backdrop with our names on it

I spent 300 on gold vase candle holders (10) ; 80 for the glass candle holders for the guest tables; I spent 30 bucks on mini roses to sit inside the floating candle holders under water

I spent 35 on the guest book

I spent 145 on engraved lock + key hearts (party favors; they will tie the napkins and be for people to take home as a keychain)

I got my quote for approx. 2,400 for table and chair rentals - we are renting mirrored tables and gold cartier chairs for us and the wedding party; with two Gold bar backs full of flowers and candles and a gold cake table.

I still have to do my flowers but that brings us to 4,453 (approx.) before flowers on decor. I really hope this helps! If you need any links let me know.

I hired a local decor designer and it costs $6000 for a wedding of 70 guests, and adding flowers would be another $3000. I was a bit hesitant for spending that much amount at first but seeing her wedding work just makes me looking forward to my wedding so much on the surprises that she would bring us!

If you love to DIY, I would strongly recommend DIY and design the wedding theme yourself then rent the pieces that you need.

Our wedding is about 200 people for dinner, and another 75-ish 'crashing' the wedding dance. We are not decorating our ceremony at all (It's happening in a church and they have limited options for décor that they will allow).

I've bought most of our reception décor second hand, and will be selling it after. I've put out about 2500$ in décor purchases (including table linens, chair covers, center pieces, etc) and expect to get about 2000$ of that back.

So in the end, we'll have spent about 500$. Smiley smile

All my décor (including flowers) is costing $4500. The bulk of it's for the flowers tho. We have our ceremony backdrop (greenery), aisle runner, chair greenery (x 10), and our sweetheart table backdrop (I honestly can't even remember what it is anymore lol).

Décor-wise, my fiancé and I are renting gold resin chiavari chairs, and two mirrors. The former cost approximately $600 (including the delivery and pick up). Our guest list contains 50 people (excluding ourselves). We will be spending a few thousand dollars on fresh florals. China, cutlery, cake table, sweetheart table, linens, etc. are provided by our venue.

My decorator quote is based on 200 people. it includes chair covers, table clothes (for 20 tables), head table, 2-3 tables for gifts/memorial table clothes, centerpieces (no fresh flowers), and a backdrop behind the head table. She is charging 1800. (i know i got a bit of a deal because my dj/coordinator only recommends her).

there won't be any ceremony décor.

    Hello!

Not a DIY bride whatsoever! lol Will have a total of 120 attendees. Spending a bit more than $2,100 in decor (including centerpieces, outdoor ceremony decor, terrasse for the cocktail, table of honour all with artificial flowers) and about 600$ for bouquets and boutonnieres (real flowers).

We haven't purchased everything yet, but we have a budget of $1550 for all things decor (this includes greenery and flowers) so far we have done well with sticking to our budget as we are doin a debt free wedding so I feel confident in our numbers.

Our main source of decor will be lots of beautiful lights and greenery/succulents. A bit of tulle and fabric will be needed for the backdrop, but that's about it!

Our wedding was 75 people. I spent $400 on flowers (bouquets and arch), $90 on centrepieces and aisle decor (potted flowers and my MIL grew the flowers from seed so that saved a bunch), $20 on signs and table numbers, seating chart. About $50 on lanterns and lights (which I was able to sell afterward and got most of the money back). And I made a word art thing which probably costed $40 for the backboard, words, and paint. So $200 for decor, $600 including flowers.

I am NOT a DIY bride whatsoever! Haha. I’m getting married in 100 days and I only have centre pieces ordered from the florist. I really have to get on things and start figuring out what I want/need. I have no motivation (which is super bad at this point in the game, I know!) haha. We were going to make a card box, cupcakes stands etc. Now I’m just going to buy them. I don’t know from where, Micheals maybe?!?! I’m a procrastinator, always have been. I need to find a list of decor items so I can start figuring it all out.

I am also a total DIY bride.... I made my centrepieces, favours, signs, backdrop, and thrift store shopped for my knick knacks.

I think if you include my "splurges" of extra candles and some lights, I did my decor AND favours for less than $500. For a guest list of about 100, and 12 tables + a sweetheart table.

I needed something to block an exit door at the head of my ceremony space, so my mom and I found giant sheer curtains at a thrift store for $8, and she sewed them to make 2 panels to frame the ceremony space.

My centrepieces are 2 vases, one bigger, one smaller, on a charger plate. I made faux-pine cone bouquets that will sit on top of the large vase, and the vase will be filled with a strand of twinkle lights from Costco. The smaller vase has a pillar candle and fake snow around the bottom. Then I have a silver 4x6 frame with table numbers in them. I got everything for 14 centrepieces (I had more tables before), for about $150.

My favours are individual hot chocolate cones, and I made them, for 110 favours (made extras just in case) it cost about $160.

I bought frames at thrift stores, usually got lucky and went when they had 50% off housewares sales, so I got several LARGE frames for under $8 each. I splurged and ordered poster prints from Costco, otherwise I would have just made the sign to go in the frame. These are for my "welcome" sign, "unplugged ceremony" sign, and my seating chart. I have 2 smaller ones as well for the guest book table and gifts/cards table.

Sorry, super long winded, haha... but the dollar store is your new best friend (Dollar Tree specifically is nothing over $1.25, other ones start at $1 and go up from there)... Thrift stores are amazing to find hidden treasures you can turn into unique pieces.

I am not doing any fresh flowers, aside from my bouquets & boutonnieres... so finding alternatives to florals will save you a ton of cash too.
