‘Legalities’ of what an officiant must say

Help! We are getting married in a few days and had our rehearsal yesterday. I’m my fiancé’s grandpa is marrying us, got ordained and went through the whole process. He said a few things yesterday that didn’t sit right with me and told me he had to ‘legally’ say they in the province of Manitoba, yet I’ve never heard them at any weddings I’ve been at in the past. Help! Anyone know what you actually have to say or what can be changed with your own words?!
