Late night wedding venues

Our venue lets us stay until 1, but we've been thinking about taking the party elsewhere around 1230. Our venue is in the middle of our bar and restaurant district so our favorite pubs are literally around the corner.
If we did this I know most guests would go home, but our close friends would join us. I'd also need to change into a different dress or outfit because I would not want to risk ruining my dress.

If your venue doesn't let you stay you could always take the party to go!

Will your wedding be more intimate or a big wedding?

The Mississauga Convention Centre is opened until 2am, that's where we're having our reception

My reception venue (Sassafraz restaurant) won't kick us out until 2:30- but they will stop serving at 1:45

I'm getting married at Hernder Estates Winery in St.Catharines. I confirmed my contract and the bar is open until 12:30am in my package, but there is an option to keep it open later (for a fee), but I don't see anything in the contract about what time we have to leave.

Also, if I remember correctly, most of the wineries I looked into in the area all were open until 1am (ish). I can't even remember everything I looked into at this point (so long ago in planning ), sorry I can't be more specific

Thanks for the respond. I guess Southern Ontario- Niagra area is good, anywhere near Toronto as I am flexible with my venue location.

Can you be more specific where in Ontario?

Some venues will stay open later for an additional fee (if there's one you REALLY like already). But I found most venues I looked at were available pretty late (mine is in the Niagara area and is available until 1am I believe)
