Late night snack time

Keena, on March 4, 2018 at 22:57 Posted in Wedding reception 0 9
I think I finally have things in place however I know during the reception when you serve alcohol you need to serve food later on ...
my ceremony is 630 to 7 some snacks right after like fruit trays cheese and crackers sweet and sour meat balls ... while we take photos until around 8 30 come back around 8 45 (travel time ) some speeches until 9 pm 9 to 930 for first dances bouquet toss garter toss
9 30 dance starts so I was thinking late night snack for 10 or 10 30? Then it can just stay out for the night
thanks

That would be a good time to put it out, most weddings I have been to puts it out between that time

We are doing our late night starting at 10pm as well. Our sit down dinner is at 6pm and we are doing smaller munchie stuff (popcorn, spring rolls, cotton candy) for the late night as well as our cake.

That’s a good time. Our venue only starts serving the late night snack at 10 so that’s our snack time too.

That sounds like perfect timing! I know I'd be munching away.

We aren't having a late night snack and aren't required to even though we are serving alcohol. We are offering a full sit down meal plus cake and another type of dessert, coffees and teas all evening. Because of that, extra food wasn't necessary saving us even money.

I think that's good timing for late night food. Make sure it's something that will absorb some of the alcohol your guests will be drinking!
