Is anyone else struggling with venues simply not getting back to them for a 2022 wedding? We found a venue we love (actually, it’s the only option we’ve seen that would work for what we want, within our budget) but the manager is not getting back to us.
Setting up a site visit was challenging enough - no one answered my messages but I finally got through to someone in person. Now it’s over a month since we visited and the manager hasn’t returned any of my emails or the messages I’ve left. We did not meet the manager at the visit, so we are still lacking crucial information such as precise costs. I am being very polite and have given him over a week between emails but I’m more than a little concerned at this point. Most recently I left a message with the front desk (it’s an inn and they are open currently) requesting he touch base with me to set up a time to chat over the phone. This was last Thursday and still nothing. I’m trying to accommodate for life and business disruptions due to Covid, but at what point do I give in? Places are already booking up around here for 2022 weddings so I’m definitely not appreciating being left in limbo.
