Sophie's gown shoppe was a great experience for me, it was a lot like the show and the prices im assuming are much better! It's a place to maybe consider if you aren't set on kleinfelds

It's very touch and go. I'd say go for yourself if you want to but it's mixed reviews. I saw a poster here say it was great. I got my dress from there and I would say it was mediocre at best. Alot of people will tell you it's awful. It's definitely not like the tv show and the prices are pretty steep. Had my mom not offered to split the dress it would've been a no for me. But after like 10 dress stores and what felt like 100s of dresses my pnina tornai checked off all the boxes in my list. I would say I hope you end up having a wonderful time but it could go 50/50

This was the last spot I checked out. I don’t frequent downtown very often so it was a bit of a mission, also never been in The Bay building before and we were so confused trying to find it haha. I booked online well in advanced and went on a Friday afternoon. They weren’t very busy which is what I like. It’s a very nice, beautiful spacious dressing rooms and the lady that I had was super nice, no pressure at all. I did not end up buying my dress from them because I had already found it at the shop I went to before.

Also I only had to book an appointment less than a week in advance even for a Saturday!

I went with both moms, plus my moms friend and all my bridesmaids! AND that's where and when I ended up saying yes to a dress!!! It was a WONDERFUL experience! I worked with the consultant Stephanie (I knew she would be good with that name alone) and I showed her what I was looking for! The first dress she pulled wasnt from the dresses i found online but ended up being the one i said yes to haha! The changing rooms are massive! And so are the areas you go and show off which was nice! She was 100% mindful of my budget (ticket price being under $2500) but she also let me try on an $18,000 dress just for fun haha!! And when I wanted to try a Randy Fenoli dress she was very clear to me multiple times that it was over my budget (I just wanted to try because I love Randy) overall great experience! Never felt pressure and when I did say yes she brought us champagne and took a bunch of group photos of us!!!
I cannot recommend going enough! It was truly an amazing day!!!

Exactly! I say you should start with the best (if it's your first time trying on dresses), then go from there and see where your dress search takes you. I went dress shopping this past weekend and visited 3 boutiques in one day. The price-point on the dresses were all the same but it's the experience that is making me go back to one specifically.

I haven't been there but I hear great things about it! I hear that the changerooms are huge and the experience is really nice. I say you should give it a try just because lol.
