We want to know what wedding customs and traditions you are keeping and which you are skipping. In this week's game, it's all about pre-wedding traditions.

Are you keeping or skipping giving welcome bags or baskets to your out of town guests?

Skipping- pretty well all our guests are atleast coming from a bit out of town including us, so that would get expensive fast.

Skipping our out of town guests are staying with family and they are most likely arriving the day before the wedding

Skipping or at least down-sizing. Basically all of our guest are from out of town, so we just don't have the budget to do one for everyone. My FH and I think, if we do a welcome basket, it'll be for the bridal party and our parents...the people who may be there a day or two earlier than all the guests as a nice thank you. :-)

Skipping. We don't have any out of towners who aren't from the area originally and can keep costs down a little here.

Skipping for the most part. But I will probably put some together for the bridal party and parents so they have the timeline for the weekend and any additional info.

Skipping. The wedding is only an hour away from all our guests and it's a 5+ hour flight for us so we are the out of towners here lol

Skipping. It's completely understandable if people can't make it because they don't want to travel. Coming to the wedding is gift enough.

We did it and very simple. Indian bags with bottled water (2), mixed nuts in an organza bag, chocolates in another organza bag and w granola bars. Wedding day and activities to each room checking in.

Undecided. I would like to keep it, but I am not sure if it will be worth it. We will have a lot of out of town guests and I think it is nice to provide a welcome bag, I am just not sure what to put in it...

We will be doing this! We are going to get beer from our local brewery, a special dessert which was created here, and some other things to help welcome everybody to our city.

Skipping. I also won’t be reserving rooms anywhere. There’s not a ton of guests coming from out of town, and most who are already have places to stay with family here, etc.

    I want to keep it!

Call me old-fashioned, but I think it’s a nice way to tell the out-of-town guests that you appreciate them. I’ve been to a couple of out-of-town weddings, and it would have been very sweet had there been just a little something to show appreciation.

Kind of keeping. We are getting married at a destination sort of (Banff AB, we are from NWT). We got custom beer koozies and we will have a printout with things to do in Banff, eats & drinks, and the weekend itinerary. It will be kind of rolled into each beer koozie and distributed at the meet & greet

Skipping. Im not booking a block of rooms for anyone either. Everyone will get a wedding favour, in town guests and out of town alike. That’s good enough for me

Skip. I haven’t been to a wedding where I was given a wedding basket. Besides that, I am pretty sure that there is nothing sensible to be put in there; either stuff they already have or stuff that will be too expensive for us to buy.
