That seems like a great idea, comfort food with a homemade touch.

We are having a cake that is included in our wedding package. We plan to cut it prior to dinner, and have it served along side the already planned desert.

We are having a small cake for cutting and picture but there will be more than enough food we thought an extra cake is just too much!

Skip! Neither of us are big cake fans, and wedding cakes are really expensive. We're looking into other alternatives for cake.

We'll be having a small cake to cut, but we're not making an event of it, just a quick photo op and then back to the action. Most weddings I've been to as an adult, they have cut the cake without anyone even realizing it.
