Just Sharing My Day

So I got married about a week ago. The last couple days were stressful with the in laws and we were hosting and making the food. The day worked out fine. We had a lot of last minute preparations.

Only problem was that it was super hot about 30 C with the humidity. Inside our home even with the AC cranked up it was too hot on the upper floor.

We got married at city hall. The AC wasn't enough there and again we were roasting. Made for slightly awkward photos.

The ceremony went great and I was able to incorporate Aboriginal symbolic medicines. A friend even brought sweetgrass as a gift.

We had to stay for more photos. By the end of that we were really looking forward to the food and drink at the reception.

The reception was beautiful. Then we had our own candid photo shoot in the park so we could get pictures with the guests who couldn't make it to the reception. Was very happy to include my Pomeranian.

Then we went on a minimoon for 4 days in Niagara. On to married life.

Got to thank this website and the brides here for insight and advice. Also Pinterest and etsy.
