We don't have it in our budget either but I have a few close friends that are not in the wedding party that offered to help with anything I need so I am going to take them up on that but still do a lot of last minute stuff myself.

I agree with Melissa that you should consider a Day-Of Coordinator. We unfortunately didn't have enough room in our budget and I had to just hope that our vendors were doing what they were supposed to be while we were all busy getting ready! (And we didn't have to worry about rentals.) I was getting into my dress and was like "well I hope the DJ is all ready downstairs..." (He was thank god! But vendors are human too and forget things so it would have definitely eased my mind to have someone who I know was following up on all the last minute things.)

Hey Simone, I just posted some photos.

It already has twinkley lights inside the bar so that was a bonus. I think lots of rustic type ideas.

Centre pieces I want to get some old hard cover books and tight them with burlap and a ribbon the color of our wedding them and then put that in the middle with the follows on top of that in a mason jar.

Burlap table runners. Everything else will be pretty simple. I don't want to spend too much on linens, etc. Maybe the napkins one of the wedding colors.

For the table listing, we are going to get an old window frame and paint it our wedding colors and then hang string across it and clothes pin some papers with who is at which table. I should post of picture of this stuff so you know know what I mean....man I could go on forever.

What are some ideas you are doing.

Oh and ONE MORE THING. We get to have a campfire (which is a dream for me) so we are thinking a smore bar....?? Bad idea? Good idea? Too messy for a wedding?

I'll go ahead and repeat the ladies who went before me:

1- Congrats! We neeeeed pictures Very exciting!

2- Up- negotiate like crazy and keep a good list of who is doing what/ contract copies and preferred vendors are great

I will add-maybe consider a Day-Of coordinator? I know thye can be pricey, so the duty might fall to a close family memeber or Birdesmaids, but a DOC could come in really handy to relieve the pressure on you for the wedding day with so many vendors and tasks to cover!

Congratulations on finding your dream venue! I would love to see a photo of it!!! I think Natasha's advice is really good! I can't offer too much help as my wedding is at a banquet hall and I don't have a lot of outside vendors as pretty much everything is including at my hall! I would definitely ask about a list of preferred vendors though so they know the area better then others! Makes it a lot easier on you and them!

Congrats on finding your dream venue !!! Its so exciting when you find the perfect place, I like you am also getting married outside on a farm and my reception is in a barn and my venue was the same just the rental only. I was super nervous piecing everything together.

My best advice for you is just take it one day at a time, and get multiple quotes from vendors you will be surprised how many try to up the price because they know you have to source everything on your own. Also ask your venue if they have a perffered list of vendors they like to work with, this is nice because those vendors have been their befor and know the rules and lay of the land.
