Italian destination wedding!

Hi Selina - I'm also doing my wedding in Italy this summer! Tuscany for me And also hired a planner. Its really tough to plan a wedding from so far away - so good call on getting a planner. Yes, that's pretty much what I did, I went online to search for reviews (she had many-mostly on weddingwire). Also mine did not require a deposit prior to us meeting in Italy - we had a couple of skype calls and when we came to Italy she spent the day taking us to several different venue options that she organized, at the end of the day we finally provided a deposit. See if you can swing some one-on-one time (if you are planning to go to Italy before your wedding day) to make you feel more comfortable with this planner.

Post some pictures of your wedding!!!

Maybe start with a travel agent and perhaps they know of companies who other couples have dealt with, if not maybe contact the hotel you will be staying in and see if they also know anyone.

Hey I haven't heard of him before but I would definitely ask for references and check to see if their are Facebook groups for destination weddings in that area. Sounds like a beautiful idea!! Hope you get it all planned and figured out!
