Is anyone having a fall 2020 wedding?

I’m just wondering if anyone is having a fall wedding this year? Is it indoors? Outdoors? In a tent? If it’s outside, or in a tent are you renting heaters?

Oh my we are doing basically the same! We hope to get married October 2, and hopefully have a couple portable heaters depending on the weather. We were going to have our reception indoors but because a tent will allow us to have 100 instead of 50, that's what we are going with! We are both so happy we can still have our wedding this year, even if it's with a modified guest list.

Its good to hear fall weddings are taking place without a hold back. Though the guest count being reduced isn't the feeling to not have everyone present. Congrats to everyone on their fall weddings.

Yes, I am! We are having our wedding September 26! We originally were doing inside but with the restrictions allowing us more people outside we decided on a tent wedding instead. My hubby is in the heating industry and he said that we will get portable heaters just incase.
Our wedding has gone from 260 to 100 guests, unless before our date that number increases again then we will increase our numbers, we haven’t called to tell anyone yet!

Yeah i hired a dj. And we have a huge space and I’m having a small guest count. It will be weird dancing 6 feet apart. Lol. But I’ll take it.

I know singing is restricted outdoors as well because they weren't allowed even when patios reopened for restaurants. But you can hire performers though. Hoping you're allowed to dance outdoors. Might require physical distancing but still beats nothing.

They will be serving plated food so no restrictions. Nothing yet regarding dancing. I’m assuming as long as it is outdoors it should be ok as dancing and singing is only restricted now indoors

Glad everything worked out for you. Has the venue placed any restrictions on dancing and food in an outdoor setting?

We are having an outdoor wedding tent reception at our venue! So lucky our venue has been so accommodating! Thankfully Ontario’s stage 3 includes 100 ppl outdoors. Despite that we are having a small reception of about 50-60 guests which is what we have always wanted. Goodluck with your ceremony.

    We are!
We're doing the ceremony outside, at a local beach near one of our favorite parks where we can get some gorgeous photos with the foliage and the water. There's a good chance of fog, but that can make for beautiful photos too.

My parents have offered to have a small reception after at their home, and if there is a hurricane we will do the ceremony in their living room.
Our big reception is planned for next year when all our family can be there. Even though they're Canadians my fiance's parents aren't comfortable crossing the US border this year, we will miss them but know this is for the best.
