Ahhh started to give out invitations (though some ppl would think its quite late for a June 6th wedding, my mom refused to let me deliver them any earlier she thinks its wild to give them out so early 😂). Anyway, my mom has been such a blessing through wedding planning shes basically done so much, including the invitations. I had a hard time justifying invite prices, knowing they certainly go in the trash. I also didnt plan on making invites. We spent a bit more on our “save the dates” by having magnets hoping ppl would go online and rsvp but didnt work

ppl still need a reminder so we realized we needed to send a follow up... so cue super mom. While working a full time job and making these idk how she does it... best of all each cost 0.70cents YAAAAS.

She used vellum paper and got the card part with the blue flowers printed at her job so saved us a bit of money! But the cutting, folding, sealing, etc alll her!
Anyone’s mom a super star in their own way?!

Nice invites and great job to your mom for doing it all. Amazing on the savings of the cost. Lucky your mom is good in knowing how to make invitations to your style.

Thank you!!! Vellum is actually such a hard paper to work with i certainly couldnt do it. Good for you for sticking to so many DIYs!!

Those are nice. Invites are expensive indeed mine are around $1600 so feel blessed your mom is super handy lol

They look awesome! The flower background is sooo pretty. Where'd you or your mom find the vellum? I'm using it for belly bands on mine and can't find sheets bigger than 8.5x11, which is precisely double the width of my invite, and it leaves an irritating little gap once it's all folded over. It's driving me crazy lol.

Those look wonderful! I would never believe that they were budget invites, the vellum makes them look expensive.

That is an amazing job. I thought about trying to find the vellum paper to make my own. However I'm thinking I have too many DIy projects on the go already. Really pretty invites.
