Invitation help!

Stefanie, on February 8, 2021 at 15:55 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 3
I am getting new invitations done up for our postponed August 14 date. Previously I just had a email/phone number and to RSVP by May 1 last year for our original August 8 date. I have since made a wedding website so that information can be updated there and for RSVPs. How would you write that our on your invitation? And when would you make your RSVP date?

Your new invites can be noted as Covid updates available on website with new RSVP date of ______. Venues and vendors like to know the final count 6 weeks prior to the event, so consider 2 months in advance to get your guest count finalized.

I would check with your venue and if you guys are having a dinner, see when they need final numbers by. That way you should know exactly when you need your RSVP's back by

We had an inscription that read “You can RSVP digitally and find any updates on our wedding website” with the full link typed out and it was right above a QR code that sent guests straight to our website.
We also had an RSVP deadline of 1 month before because our venue needed final numbers 2 weeks before. You could do staged RSVP deadlines if you had an A and B list. I wish we had done that so we had time to invite others.
