This week we’re talking all about wedding trends! Signature drinks have taken cocktail hours by storm! They're a great way to get creative, and also to vary your bar offerings. Are you into it, or just looking to order a classic cocktail?

Into it! Mine will be raspberry vodka with iced tea, and his will be rum and coke. We can decide to either have them prepared ahead of time, or the bartender can make it to order. They are super easy drinks, and they are our favourites/go to's.

Funny side note, I used to think rum and cokes were "Roman cokes" when I was a kid.

Over it I mean, it's just too much pressure? Lol I guess I will have one and so will my FH but they are only what we will be drinking that night so that people are aware of what we like? (Margarita for me and Beer for him)

Over it... My FH and I are so polar opposites with booze preferences we probably wouldn't even be able to decide on something... plus I don't think it adds anything to the wedding.
We are also doing one welcome drink and cash bar, so I'm sure our guests will want to pick their own free drink.

Into it! We are having a toonie bar, and I wanted something other than the usual 'rum and coke'. We actually hosted a cocktail night at our home last weekend, and had about 20 friends over to try 10 different cocktails and narrow it down to three.

I like this, but it's not for us. So I guess over it! Our venue is already providing pre-reception cocktails and punches... but if they weren't then it would probably be something we'd look into!

Into it! Were doing a signature drink. It's called a Hennessy ginger. It's essentially just ginger ale and Hennessy but it's super good!

I'm into it. I think it's great to see what choices the bride and groom make. I'm not going to be doing it though, because I'd prefer our guests to drink the "cheaper stuff", like wine and beer!
