Hey wonderful brides and grooms!

The Instagram era is upon us! The Save the Dates can be paper but also just a picture to announce all your friends when you are getting married. How do you like this idea?

    I realize I forgot to vote, for the private save the date, I would choose number 5 or the last one.

    I would say no due to privacy issues and I would only want my family and close friends to receive a save the date by alternative methods.

    EXACTLY!!! FUlly agree with Sam! I shared most of my engagement photos, but have never mentioned a date or any details on my social media accounts.

    Also number 4 with the balloons is my favourite! Number 1 reads like "The June 16 Save Date 2012" to me

    Of course you should definitely share your engagement photos on social media but I would be hesistant to post one that specifically says "Save the Date" because that's just opening yourself up for people to contact you and say "yay can't wait to go to your wedding!" and they might not be invited.

    #4 is cute with the balloons! And #7 would be perfect for a destination wedding!

    I think using a photo from the enagement session, or taking a cute picture is a great idea. It lets you have a little more fun with things than a formal invite!

    We skipped STDs- with under a year of planning it seemed silly to spend the money. We gave our VIPs notice so they could arrange.

    Probably number 3 or 4! If I had a dog still then that would be perfect! I have cats but they would never let me put something on them like that haha
