Every day more and more brides and grooms participate in discussions here in our community and create discussions to share their ideas and experiences.
And you know what? That makes us really happy! 
However, as our community is starting grow, we have to make sure our little house stays organized. As you know (from your own experience, hehe) keeping things clean is something important in every home, right?
So today I will explain how our different groups work, just as we would keep things tidy and organized in our different drawers.
Groups are like drawers where each serves a different purpose. When we know what goes inside that drawer, it's a lot easier to later find what we're looking for.
But where should I post my discussions? What really goes inside each group?
Let me explain. Our groups-drawers are these.
And here's what goes inside each of them.
- Plan a wedding:
Everything related to the organization of your wedding goes in this group. For example: Choosing providers, planning, budget, guests, doubts on the schedule, etiquette, questions on when is the right moment to buy what, or how to begin, etc.
- DIY:
This is the space for all of you crafty DIY people and the things you decide to do yourself. For example: You can post here all of your tutorials, guides, brochures, to show us what you did and how you did it, like your invitations,guest books, etc.
- Beauty:
Like its name indicates, here is the space to talk about everything beauty related for your big day. For example: makeup tips and tutorials, nutrition, workout routines, skin care advice, pictures of your makeup and hair trials, etc.
- Wedding ceremony:
In this group goes everything related to your ceremony whether it is religious, civil or symbolic. It's about everything that occurs in this moment of your marriage. For example: church, choir, rituals, procession, vows, songs, send-off, etc.
- Wedding fashion:
This is the group to discuss fashion, dresses, and trends. Not only for the bride but also for the groom and bridesmaid, best men, ring bearers, flower girls, mother of the bride, ... For example: the last collection of a designer, veils inspired from the 50s, boutonnière, bridesmaids look, ...
Now, if you want to show your dress and ask for advice or feedback but don't want it to be available to anyone else but the brides of the community, better to post it in the My wedding dress group
- Honeymoon:
This group is probably the most straighforward of all. Like its name says, post here anything related to your honeymoon. For example: destinations, plans, promotions, ...
- My wedding dress:
Post pictures of your wedding dress in this group to get feedback, advice, or simply because you want to share it with other brides! For example: I'm hesitating between 2 dresses, does it fit me, shopping in different boutiques... And don't worry! This group is only visible to the brides of the community.
- Just Married:
This group is for couples who just tied the knot. Here, you can share your experience of your big day. For example: pictures of your wedding, reactions of your guests, trash-the-dress photos, how was your honeymoon, etc.
- Famous weddings:
Curious about celebrities and wedding gossip? This group is to share big news on the rich and famous and their big announcement. For example: news on a celebrity engagement, latest wedding pictures of a rock star, JLo's engagement ring, ...
- Support:
This group is for technical support. If you have any doubts or questions on how the website works, ask your question here and it will be a pleausre for us to help you. For example: pictures are not showing in my post, I can't link my future husband's account, I want to change my profile picture, etc.
- Before the wedding:
In here, post all discussions related to your wedding preperations and progress. For example: progress for sending wedding invitations, Save the Date, 100 days left, only a few hours left. Love stories, proposals, before the wedding anecdotes, unexpected events, and more... also go in this drawer.
- WeddingWire:
This group is the drawer for general discussions within the community. For example: I won 250 points in the community, introduce yourself to the group, questions to know more about other brides in the community, ... Usually, the discussions that don't fit in other drawers will fit in this one. Just be careful not to overuse it!
- Wedding receptions:
Post in here everything related to your wedding reception. For example: the location, menu, venue, doubts on how much alcohol you should give your guests, cocktail ideas, party, music, activities, ...
- Family stuff:
In this group, share the delicate and personal family subjects you would prefer to keep private between you and other brides. For example: I have issues with my mother-in-law, my family doesn't agree with our marriage, my brother won't come to the ceremony, ... This group is only visible for brides and grooms signed in to the community.
- Living together:
This group is for all the topics related to living together as a couple. For example: cooking together, moving into a new home, sharing common space, etc.
- Regional groups:
Besides all the groups you just saw, there is a group for every province in Canada. In here, you can write about topics directly related to where you live or where you are getting married. For example: Anybody knows a good caterer in Montreal, couples getting married in Calgary, photographers in Kitchener, etc...These posts are so specific that only other people from the same region will probably be able to comment. In this case, it's best to put it in the regional groups.
