I'm just above the 4 month mark and i have increased my water

So what has everyone changed when it comes to your beauty routines leading up to the wedding?

Right now the biggest thing I've changed is my diet. Not that I'm on a diet but I am definitely trying to make the best choices. I have been doing my best to get my water intake up to 8 cups a day. I feel like I'm drowning but can usually get through it. Now that kids are back to school I have also resumed my daily walks. It's amazing how much these few little changes have increased my energy and my made my mood better.

What changes are you making? Have you tried anything new?

I started a new skincare routine about 3 months prior! I used a ton of products but here are the ones I think are definitely worth the money:

Super Glow - Really evened out my skin tone which was important for when I am bare skinned.

Crème de la Mer - Best moisturizer I have ever used.

LashMagic Pen - This one gave me the most notice results. Made my eyelashes super long reducing the need for as much mascara.

    Hope this helps!

I've got 9 months to go and while I definitely WANT to lose a good amount of weight (20-30 pounds), especially so that my upper arms might lose some girth and show more definition, I also made sure that I bought a dress that even if I don't lose a pound, I can still feel beautiful in. I've spent too much of my life pressuring myself to lose weight, and yo-yo'ing around the scale, and things have gotten stubborn. So, I continue to work on keeping my diet clean without doing any drastic diets, building in a little "time restricted eating / intermittent fasting" here and there. I should lighten up on the carbs, the ongoing battle. Aside from that, I am doing 3 weight-training workouts a week and mobility exercises to keep limber. I drink ALL the water, go for daily walks, take my vitamins, and get the sleep I need! What more can I do beyond getting a face lift or botox? LOL

I do need also to get my hair colour corrected as my stylist went too heavy and yellow with the blond to my liking.

Got sessions with a dietitian as I was not fitting into the dress that I ordered back in 2019. After 6 weeks, I finally fit in it again, phew. I have cut off junk food, paying attention to my skincare with sunscreen, Vitamin C, Retinol, Glycerin and Glycolic Acid skincare products and slowly increasing my water intake. I drank 2 Litres everyday for 3 days and my God, the difference it made in my skin even in that short amount of time. I have been trying to exercise but things fell off the wagon for that part. I need to go back to it but I am a bit lazy...

Hahaha, I know what you mean. But it's only a month and I was still able to eat delicious food, so it was manageable. Even small steps like nixing chips for popcorn for a month makes a difference.

I forgot about my hair! I'm trying to get my hair a more brown colour and less of the red and I've been going to the hairdresser regularly which is costing a fortune because my hair grows so fast.

Deep fried everything is so good though! I can see it making a difference if you stay away from it 😆

Before getting engaged earlier this year, I have lost 30 pounds. Since then I have been fluctuating a lot in weight, then summer came it went downhill. I gained about 5 pounds but now I am starting again with a regular gym schedule and a better diet and less eating out. I am 15 months out and I order a dress a size and a half smaller for the motivation that I have to lose some because if I don't, $2,250 is wasted or I will have to stress out and try to lose to much in little time. So its just been trying to find a new routine, especially since I moved jobs and its been harder to get in a gym session.

But besides losing weight for my dress, I have been changing my routine in skincare and haircare. I do not like to wear a lot of makeup, so I have been trying to find a routine that works for me and I think I'm on a good track? I have also been going to the hairdresser a lot more, I want my hair a certain color but I had it like almost black, so it has been a slow process of getting my hair to the desired color. But I am working on it!

So I have been spending a ton of money on skincare and haircare products lately, but that's okay Smiley smile

I cut junk food the month leading up to my wedding. If I ate outside, there would be no deep fried or processed fast food. Makes a huge difference.

I used to be really good with exercising, my nutrition and water intake but at the end of June I injured my wrist at the gym and its been downhill since. My wirst had recovered but I cant seem to get back into my routine! I'm slowly working at getting back into my routine which will be working out 4-5 times a week (I usually love the gym) and eating mostly healthy and drinking 3-4L water!

The first time around in January 2020 before postponing, I defiantly started drinking lots of water with lemon. I'll probably start that back up again in the new year. I defiantly saw a change for the good with my skin and hair!
