So a lot has happened!
We had our wedding booked for December 2022 in Mexico and of course, as we start rolling things all of the sudden everyone has a problem. A lot of drama came up that completely changed our mind about getting married in Mexico, others who said they were interested, fell through the moment we had rates from a travel agent and plenty of family drama made me call it off completely. I was really sad because it was finally something we agreed on but in the end, everything fell through and looking at it did not make us happy anymore. An other thing that affected it is in the military, it is tour season again and people start leaving in January 2022 - October 2023 and all of the groom's guest who he wanted to invite won't even be around. So why make him have a wedding with none of his guests if we cancelled Mexico in the first place because none of my guest wanted/could show up (relates to the drama mentioned above)? I had to delete my old profile because I got rid of so much thinking I didn't need it because we were going to Mexico, but now that we aren't I need everything back to make sure I plan accordingly.
This has been so stressful, and not even 6 months of wedding planning we have changed places like 3 times and dates like 100000 times it feels like.
Sorry to vent, I have been MIA for a few weeks because of everything going on and I needed to really think about what are options are. After going out for a few hours just the two of us we finally decided. Yes its a little far, but we gotta make sacrifices. I don't want to start our marriage with one of us resenting the other because of this.
