Do I have to ask for the marriage license and sign it in BC or Alberta?

Your marriage license is legally signed in the province your getting married and within the city near by city hall for the registration. I don't believe you can have a marriage license from one province to work in another province if the Officiant refuses. It may best to inquire from city hall itself to get the answer.

You're already married. The government won't issue you another marriage license, regardless if you're having another ceremony in Alberta or any other province.

You will need to get it signed in Alberta. It's wherever you're having the ceremony where you're legally getting married

You sign it where you are legally getting married. Wherever you are having your ceremony is where you get and sign the paper work. If you're doing it twice, the second one is just for show.
