I was thinking of getting simple wedding bands with engravings.

I’ve come across a few ideas such as: the wedding date, sound capture of the couple saying I do and names.

I’m looking for other ideas. Any suggestions?

I've always liked something like, "forever & always", or go with something personal (nickname, a saying you share, etc).

You could do a combination of things depending on how much can be engraved. You could write " ILY - WEDDING DATE" (ILY is short for I love you).

Is there a special or cute way you guys tell each other "I love you"? (Like "you're my lobster", "I want to grow old with you", etc.) Or you could do a favorite love quote or lyrics from your first dance!

I am getting my fiancé's nickname engraved on his wedding band. It will say "my Neilson" (his name is Neil)

I like the sound capture idea.
You could also keep it very simple and understated by writing "I do"
