Ideas for a proxy wedding band

Cybelle, on June 5, 2020 at 12:46 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 3

So due to COVID, my jeweller will likely not re-open in time to create my custom wedding band for the big day. Hoping to get some suggestions as to what could be a good proxy band so we have something for the ceremony.

Torn between spending too much money on what isn't my final ring, but also wanting something nice since it (technically), is the ring he puts on my finger on our wedding day!

I ordered my hubby's band off overstock.ca and it came within 2 weeks during the whole pandemic.

I agree with Amelia. For the guy's band, unless he was going for something custom as well, but if there are no stones, it should take a few days at most, if not the same day.

You can always use your engagement ring. You already have it, and it already holds the weight of your promise to be together.

I bought my ring on Etsy, just a simple thin white gold band. It's been about 12 days enroute from Texas to NB, it passed customs yesterday so it should arrive soon. That might be fast enough, and I think it was about $100 so it won't break the bank if it's just holding the place until your jeweler opens.
