We were going to do a "real" elopement and tell people afterwards. Last minute I decided I couldn't go through with that and had to tell my mom.
All went well, she's excited and coming with us.

Suddenly this just became real! I'm getting married on Wednesday!!!

Yeah, that was the plan at least. FH is now telling his family as I type this, so it's no longer a secret. It's a hard thing to do, not telling anyone, and in the end we couldn't follow through. We wanted it low stress and we are still getting that, so it's all good.
It makes it much more real when people know!
