My fiancé and I decided to get an Airbnb for our wedding party to stay in for the wedding weekend. I had my gma help me out with calculating the totals and the wording to send everyone. So my bad on my part I didn’t double check what she did and I just sent it to everyone.
The total is 1780
4 - 5 bridesmaids and groomsmen and their spouses my gma said it will be around 120 dollars which is in the message I sent everyone. but it’s more like 356!!! People have already agreed and sent a small 50 dollar deposit to us. What do I tell everyone !!? It put me in a weird place obviously and also if we don’t find people to stay we can’t really afford it either! My fiancé is not to pleased with me about this and I’m trying to find a solution What do I do …

I agree with everyone. These things happen. Just be honest and apologetic and people will understand. Plus it's your bridal party! These are your people. They love you.

Yes Im for sure going to let them know, i feel so embarrassed 😳 because it’s quite a significant mistake lol
I think it will be better to call each one of them with my fiancé instead of over text

Unfortunately, you don't really have a choice but to explain what happened and hope they'll be okay with the true cost. Your only other option is to cancel it (if you can) or cover the difference yourself... I would have been shockingly surprised and happy about $120 but $356 for a weekend makes a lot more sense.

I would just be totally honest with them. Possibly just say that there was a miss calculation and this is the correct price and if this amount is ok with everyone.
